Fadigas + Partners is
a consulting company who specialize in projects and
studies in architecture, urban planning and landscape
architecture, which utilizes the two decades of experience and
professionalism
of our team.
In
2007 Fadigas
+ Partners incorporated Fadigas & Associates,
extending the business
and continuing in activity which was start by one of its founders,
Professor
Leonel Fadigas (initiated in 1972).

within

Biographic note
Prof. Leonel Fadigas
Professor Leonel
Fadigas (1947), landscape architect and urban planner,
holds a doctorate in Urban Planning (T.U. of Lisbon, 1995) and
professor of
Faculty of Architecture at the Technical University of Lisbon, where he
coordinates the master's course in Urban Regeneration and Environment
and is
the Chairman of the Pedagogical board.
Prof. Fadigas has continued to practice as a landscape architect and
urban
planner since 1972, being one of the founder members of Fadigas +
Partners, the
company of architectural design, landscape architecture and
urbanism.
Prof. Fadigas continues in his professional capacity to research in the
field of urban regeneration, landscape architecture, planning and
strategy and
marketing of cities. He maintains a large business as a lecturer both
in
Portugal and abroad. He was director of Ambelis, Agency for
the Economic
Modernization of Lisbon, SA (1996-2003) and its president from 1998 to
2001 and
Chairman of the Environmental Impact of EPAL, Lisbon Water Company
(2000-2003).
Prof. Fadigas is
the author
of the books
"Fundamentals of environmental planning and landscape" (Editions
Silabo, Lisbon, 2007), which has became a teaching reference at the university, "Urbanism and Nature - The Challenges" (Editions
Sílabo, Lisbon, 2010) and 'Urbanism
and Territory - Public policies', (Editions
Sílabo, Lisboa, 2015).
A member of the
Assembly of the Republic between 1981 and 1987, chaired
the Parliamentary Committee of Social Equipment and Environment from
1983 to
1985. Prof. Fadigas was one of the members responsible for drafting of
the Law
on the Environment.
In 2001 he was awarded the King of Spain with the Commendation of the
Order of
Isabel La Catolica.
